Monica and Giorgio moved to Buenos Aires between the nineteenth and the twentieth century in order to introduce the Argentinian people to tango.

In 1907, July 26, at Hansen. El Cachafaz, after challenging El Pardo Santillan, posed for a few newspapers , with teachers Monica and Giorgio.

3rd of January 1953: twenty hours workshop on sacadas at the Sunderland club, held by teachers Monica and Giorgio.

Among their pupils there were great names such as El Cachafaz, Antonio Todaro, Pepito Avellaneda, who advertised their style and their teaching method.

10th September, 1976: the “Piango Tango” show, created and directed by Monica and Giorgio.

Giorgio and Monica founded scholarships to introduce young Argentinians to the study of music and tango in particular, making an enemy of their families that had hoped safer and more profitable careers for their children.

At the beginning of the eighties Monica and Giorgio came back to Europe.

Evidences of that time:
Fortunately we have found a document which was filmed in that golden period. This rare historical find can be downloaded in digital version. It has been restored by Giorgio and Monica Foundation. The original is kept in Turin at the Museo del Cinema, by the Mole Antonelliana, in the “Archivio storico delle Americhe” section.
